Diatonic and chromatic harmonica teacher
Vincenzo is a harmonica teacher and professional musician born in Marsala (Sicily) in 1983. He discovers the blues and the diatonic harmonica at the age of 22. In 2006 he graduates in Rome in Education Sciences and he writes his final thesis at university entitled “The blues music and its multicultural power”.
In the thesis he draws a musical and historical trail of the blues. At 23 he moves to London where he starts practicing the instrument full time. He starts playing the chromatic harmonica at the age of 27 when he discovers Toots Thielemans music.
In London he studies jazz and learns about other music styles like Tango and Flamenco.
At the moment he is involved in different project and he is working on his own one. He performed in London in venues such the Ronnie Scotts, the Union Chapel and the Forge. He participated at various festivals in Europe like the international Tango Festivals in the Netherlands and in France.
Vincenzo is a qualified teacher in the United kingdom and in Spain. He has been working as a Skype harmonica teacher since many years, teaching diatonic and chromatic harmonica to people of all ages. He is been organising several workshops with children and adults with disabilities, privately, in schools and online with Zoom.
